A Columbus, Indiana native, Mike has been with the Golf Office for over 26 years. Mike played golf at Ball State University, where he graduated with a degree in journalism and achieved Academic All-American status his senior year. Under Mike’s direction, the Indiana Golf Office governs four golf related not for profits including the IGA, Indiana PGA, IWGA and Indiana Golf Foundation. The Foundation oversees the Indiana Junior Tour, the Gongaware Junior Academy and First Tee-Indiana and reaches over 75,000 Indiana youth with golf programming. Mike is a proud husband and father of two adult children and grandfather to two, and has been married to his wife Betsy for 30 years. He is a die-hard Colts fan and enjoys Sundays watching football with his two dogs: Sawyer & Charlee.
Assistant Executive Director
One of our three Ball State University grads, Autumn grew up playing on the Indiana Junior Tour. She became a competitor at a young age and traveled the world competing in rock climbing and ice skating competitions. As the Assistant Executive Director, Autumn’s goal is to increase our annual and planned giving so we can continue to offer unique opportunities to our participants. Autumn enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Todd, and two dogs.
Program Director, North Region
Ali studied physical education at Northern Illinois where she played Division I golf. Because of her background, Ali is a perfect fit to provide our P.E. teachers with the assistance needed to incorporate and fully understand the National School Program. She is a Recognized The First Tee coach and our Northern Program Director, all while leading six Indianapolis golf courses providing the First Tee Program. A self-identified extrovert, Ali has never met a stranger and has a passion for working with kids.
Program Director, South Region
Program Director, Roger Lundy, has been with the Golf Office staff for 13 years. As a PGA professional, Roger’s true passion is instructing youth and developing new and exciting ways to get kids interested in the game of golf. Roger has been our Gongaware Junior Golf Academy lead instructor since 2004 and has impacted thousands of kids who have participated in our academy, First Tee, and PGA Jr. League. Roger is an award-winning coach who has been recognized by the Indiana Section PGA and US Kids Golf.
Luci is returning to the Indiana Golf Office staff as the First Tee of Indiana Operations Manager. She was the first communications director for the Indiana Golf Office almost 25 years ago and has recently served as our Committee Chair for our Greater Lafayette location. Luci’s father, Indiana Golf Hall of Fame member Jerry Jackson, introduced her to golf and she and her husband Dan, head PGA professional at Purdue University have passed on the love of the game to their two children, Ally and Jack.
Area Director, Indianapolis
Taylor is the newest addition to the First Tee –Indiana team. Taylor grew up in Battle Creek, MI where her and her brother were enrolled in The First Tee of Battle Creek. She is a product of the program and knew she had to continue giving back to the program that gave her every opportunity. Taylor graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2015 with a degree in Sports Management and became the Program Director at First Tee – West Michigan. Now our Area Director of Indianapolis, she brings over 20 years experience in First Tee. Taylor also loves to spend time working on projects at home and exploring her new home state of Indiana.
