Welcome
Formed in 2017, First Tee – Indiana in Greater Lafayette is one of the newest Indiana program locations. Classes are lead by PGA Professional Dan Ross at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex, PGA Professional Jim Ousley, and others. PGA Professional Joel Baumgartner hosts class sessions at West Lafayette Golf and Country Club. Also in 2017, First Tee School Program was introduced to the Lafayette School Corporation elementaries. There students in Kindergarten through 5th grade learned First Tee’s Core Values and beginning golf skills in the physical education classes. The success of these class led to donations from the Lafayette Community Foundation as well as private donations for curriculum and equipment for Lafayette School Corporation, Tippecanoe School Corporation as well as West Lafayette Elementary School. Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex
Coaches Dan Ross, PGA, Director of Instruction and Jim Ousley, PGA and others will bring you several offerings throughout 2024. Winter classes will take place through January and February in the Spurgeon Training Center. Outdoor spring classes will begin in April and our summer playing league, for those who are ready to walk and play the golf course, and will take place on Wednesday evenings during June and July. Our fall sessions will include a series of special events.
